Shambhala Announcements Message:
the passing of Kobun Chino Roshi

dearest friends

I just got off the telephone with shambhala mountain
center where the Sakyong's talk was cancelled today
that all might practice for Kobun Chino Roshi who
evidently drowned today while trying to save his
daughter who drowned as well.

'remembering his brushstroke' sweet and generous, at
the seminary in 1992 I am moved to tears at the
passing of this great teacher.
