12-23-07 - Sharing David and Linda Silva's Holiday Card

David Silva cuke page

Somehow it seems sufficient

To see and hear whatever coming and going is

Loosing the self to the victory

Of stones and trees

Of bending glacial lakes, crescent

Round groves of conifers:

For it is not so much to know the self

As to know it as it is known

As galaxy and cedar cone

As if birth had never found it

And death could never end it.

May you all be blessed with Joy, Peace

And well-being

This Season and in the New Year

David and Linda

Poem from A. R. Ammons
