Dear Mrs. J. Mitchell,
Thank you very much for sending me my trip expense. I have received it and sent it to San Francisco.*
I am so sorry to hear from you that you do not feel so good, and that I have come at such a bad time for you - But I am anxious to see you.
I arrived here late in the night of April 14th. They keep me very busy. Everything is going very well. Last night we had more than 100 students at my lecture at Univ. of Mass. Prof. Vorley was very kind to make my lecture possible there.
See you soon
With Gassho,
S. Suzuki
* Suzuki was always careful not to use money for personal expenses which he received as a gift to Zen Center.
