Mr. & Mrs. J. Mitchell,

I am leaving San Francisco by T.W.A. flight No. 76 on Sep. 21 at 2:00 P.M. arriving at Boston 9:55 P.M.*

Since I bought the ticket, I've started feeling excited - I can barely imagine how I will feel when I meet you at the Boston Airport, at the other edge of this continent.

With gassho,

Rev. Shunryu Suzuki

* This must be the card with the wrong arrival date which led to Suzuki's showing up while the members of the Cambridge Buddhist Association were cleaning in preparation of his expected arrival the next day. See the article on Elsie Mitchell.
